Equality Insights is founded by Eva van den Broek and Clementine Klijberg. By combining our behavioural science-minds and gender equality-hearts, we want to close the gender gap at organisations.
EVA VAN DEN BROEK
Eva van den Broek is co-founder of Equality Insights as well as Behavioural Insights Nederland. Her focus is on applying behavioural economics to improve people's daily lives. Since 2004, she has run experiments on sustainable behaviour, education, risk communication, literacy, cooperation and trust, privacy and energy use. While she has always had an interest in advancing gender equality through behavioural science, she noticed throughout her career that this is a largely unexplored area of work for most organisations. With Equality Insights, she wants to change this. Eva has a MSc in Artificial Intelligence and a PhD in Behavioural Economics and teaches at Utrecht University.
CLEMENTINE KLIJBERG
Clementine Klijberg is co-founder of Equality Insights. She started her career in marketing at multinationals in a variety of sectors. In 2010, she started working as fundraiser at a women's rights organisation, where she experienced first-hand how women globally are still faced with inequality. She believes that while there has been incredible progress in closing the gender gap, progress is not fast enough. With Equality Insights, she wants to promote experiment-based and research-based ways of working to advancing gender equality in organisations.
